About the Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Connecticut,
The Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Connecticut is comprised of
- citizens
- health professionals
- workers
- environmental justice groups
- educators, and others
seeking preventive action on toxic hazards. Unfortunately, current environment and health policies do not protect us. Our individual rights and our quality of life are threatened by harmful pollution and products Coalition partners are committed to the common goals of increasing awareness regarding toxins found in cleaning chemicals and establishing new government policies to prevent harm to our health from these and other toxic hazards.

Our mission is to correct the fundamental flaws in government policies that allow harm to our health and environment.
